Hong Kong: New textbooks in Hong Kong have decided to teach Chinese narratives to children, according to which Hong Kong was never a British colony.
Officials say the new textbooks will remove lessons from what was described as a British colony and the reason for the pro-democracy protests in the country.
According to foreign media, the new textbooks will teach children that China did not ratify the agreements that made Hong Kong a British colony. Kang was handed over to China.
It should be noted that China says that the pro-democracy protests were in fact being carried out by external forces.
